August 2015: Patrick Ritchie and John McGuire competed in the Tarpon Triathlon race consisting of a 150-meter swim, ten-mile bike and 5K run along Bayou Black in Houma, Louisiana. Patrick finished sixth out of 15 in his age group with an overall time of 1:10:31.4. John finished seventh out of 13 in his age group with an overall time of 1:04:09.5. This was Patrick’s third time competing in this triathlon and was John’s third race of the season. Proceeds from the race support a local non-profit youth swim team.
